RIIZE Soars with Debut Full Album Odyssey and High-Energy Title Track Fly Up

 Wartagate.com - Kpop boy group RIIZE has officially made their much-anticipated comeback with their first full-length album, Odyssey. 

Leading the album is the vibrant and energetic title track, “Fly Up”, which the group hopes will capture the hearts of fans worldwide just as their debut hit Get a Guitar once did.

According to the members, Fly Up carries a similar spirit and energy to their debut single, and they are confident the song will be just as well received, if not more.

“This song really reminds me of Get a Guitar. The moment I heard it, I felt certain we could do really well with it too,” said Wonbin, reflecting on the excitement surrounding the track.

Fly Up blends rock-and-roll elements with dance rhythms, creating an upbeat atmosphere that, according to the group, is irresistible. As reported by Yonhap News Agency on Monday, the track’s lively vibe is expected to get listeners up and dancing the moment it starts playing.

More than just a new release, Odyssey marks a significant milestone for RIIZE. It is their first full album since their official debut in September 2023, and it brings together ten tracks that showcase the group’s signature sound—“emotional pop”.

Reflecting on the group’s journey over the past year, member Anton shared, “A lot has happened in the last 11 months, but now we can finally present our first full-length album to everyone.”

He added, “Fans will truly get to experience what emotional pop means through this album. I hope you enjoy both our songs and performances.”

The music video for Fly Up also adds a cinematic touch to the comeback. Shot in Los Angeles, USA, the video takes inspiration from classic teen films, aiming to capture youthful energy and freedom through vibrant choreography and storytelling.

Anton fondly recalled the filming experience, particularly impressed by the number of dancers involved in the production, which added a dynamic visual layer to the music.

With Odyssey, RIIZE not only takes a significant step in their musical journey but also further defines their artistic identity. As the group continues to shape the emotional pop genre, fans can expect more heartfelt, energetic, and genre-blending music in the future.
