Dowoon Rumored to Be Dating and Preparing for Marriage with Yoo Ji Yoo, JYP Entertainment Speaks Out

WartaGate.com - Dowoon has recently become a hot topic after rumors surfaced about his alleged romantic relationship with YouTuber Yoo Ji Yoo. The news quickly spread across various online communities and South Korean social media platforms.

The rumors began after netizens noticed that Dowoon and Yoo Ji Yoo appeared to use keychains with the same design. Among K-pop fans, wearing or using similar items is often seen as a sign of closeness or a special relationship between two people.

In addition, netizens also pointed out a photo of a dog uploaded by one of Dowoon’s acquaintances. Many speculated that the dog belonged to Yoo Ji Yoo, further fueling rumors about the two.

Speculation intensified after reports emerged claiming that Dowoon and Yoo Ji Yoo had allegedly consulted about wedding preparations. The issue immediately sparked various reactions from fans and made both of their names trend on social media

Responding to the circulating rumors, JYP Entertainment finally released a statement. However, the agency did not provide a detailed explanation or a firm denial regarding the dating and marriage rumors involving the artist.

Meanwhile, Dowoon is widely known as the drummer of DAY6, which debuted in 2015. The group gained public attention through their debut mini album The Day with the title track Congratulations.

Aside from his activities with DAY6, Dowoon also made his solo debut in September 2021 through the digital single Out of the Blue. Through the project, he showcased another side of himself as a vocalist and explored a more personal musical style.

Until now, the rumors surrounding Dowoon and Yoo Ji Yoo’s relationship continue to be widely discussed among fans. However, neither of them has made a direct statement regarding the issue.
