Karina, aespa's leader, explained that the title track Lemonade and the pre-release single WDA (Whole Different Animal) mark the beginning of a new chapter in the group's musical journey. According to her, the album carries a brighter atmosphere compared to their previous releases.

WDA is a hip-hop dance track featuring a collaboration with G-Dragon. Karina said that the rapper and K-pop icon brought a unique touch that made the song even more compelling.

Meanwhile, the title track Lemonade delivers a more relaxed and story-driven vibe. Winter shared that the song is one of the tracks that best reflects aespa's sense of humor and distinctive character.

Behind its cheerful melody, Lemonade also carries a positive message. Karina explained that the song encourages listeners to turn challenges and hardships into something meaningful, much like transforming a sour lemon into a refreshing glass of lemonade.

In addition, the album includes a special digital version of Lemonade featuring Becky G. The American singer adds a fresh dimension to the song with her rap performance, which blends naturally with the members' vocals.

Fans can also enjoy tracks such as Shakin’ and Switchblade, an electro-dance song created in collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign. Winter described the track as a powerful and energetic piece that combines both strength and versatility.

Following the release of Lemonade, aespa is preparing to meet fans around the world through their third concert tour, Synk : Complaexity. The tour will kick off in Seoul, South Korea, on August 7 and 8, 2026. The group is also scheduled to perform at the internationally renowned Lollapalooza Chicago music festival later in August.
