Kang Mina Reportedly Cast in Netflix’s ‘Solo Leveling’ Adaptation

Responding to the rumors, Story J Company released a brief statement saying that no official decision has been made regarding Kang Mina’s involvement in the project.

The agency explained that discussions are still ongoing and there has been no final confirmation on whether the actress will join the Netflix-produced series.

“Solo Leveling” is widely known as one of South Korea’s most popular franchises with a massive global fanbase.

The story originally began as a web novel before being adapted into a webtoon and later an internationally successful animated series.

The plot follows Sung Jin Woo, an E-rank Hunter who is considered the weakest among monster hunters.

However, his life changes dramatically after surviving a dangerous incident inside a mysterious dungeon.

Following the near-death experience, Sung Jin Woo gains extraordinary powers that eventually transform him into humanity’s greatest hope against monsters emerging from dimensional gates.

Previously, actor Byeon Woo Seok was confirmed to play the lead role of Sung Jin Woo. Meanwhile, Han So Hee is also reportedly considering an offer to portray Cha Hae In in the series.

Another name rumored to join the project is Kang You Seok. He is reportedly in talks to play Yoo Jin Ho, one of the important characters in the story.

The growing list of popular actors has made fans even more curious about Netflix’s live-action adaptation of “Solo Leveling.”

For Kang Mina, the entertainment industry is nothing new. She first gained public recognition as a member of the popular project girl group I.O.I before actively pursuing an acting career.
