Wartagate.com - The rise of online attacks and malicious content has become an alarming issue, especially with the increasing number of individuals hiding behind anonymity to spread false narratives and damaging visuals.
These so-called "cyber destroyers" have been exploiting digital platforms to distribute fake news, manipulated videos, and short films intended to incite harassment and online bullying.
In a recent statement, entertainment agency Gold Medalist expressed serious concern over these actions, emphasizing that legal steps are already underway.
“As the identities of these cyber attackers have now been uncovered and legal proceedings are in motion, we will respond firmly, including through collaboration with international legal representatives targeting overseas platforms such as YouTube and X (formerly Twitter),” the agency stated.
Gold Medalist made it clear that they are committed to protecting their artists against unlawful digital activity.
The company affirmed it would maintain strong legal action against any form of defamatory content or online behavior that infringes on their artists' rights.
“We will continue to file additional complaints against defamatory posts targeting our artist, and we assure the public that we will do everything in our power to defend their rights through firm legal measures,” the agency added.
This strong response comes amid ongoing controversy surrounding one of Gold Medalist’s stars, who rose to global fame with the hit drama Queen of Tears.
The actor has been the subject of online rumors since March, including unproven allegations involving the late actress Kim Sae Ron.
The claims, which suggest an inappropriate relationship, have been flatly denied.
Gold Medalist’s decisive stance sends a clear message: malicious behavior online will not go unpunished. As the digital landscape continues to evolve, the agency vows to remain vigilant and proactive in safeguarding the dignity and privacy of its talents.
