Moon: A Touching Tribute to Moonbin of ASTRO by 22 K-pop Artists

Wartagate.com - To mark the second anniversary of Moonbin’s passing, a heartfelt musical tribute titled "꿈속의 문 (Moon)" was released on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 6 PM KST. 

This emotionally charged song brings together the voices of 22 renowned K-pop artists as a collective expression of remembrance and love for the late ASTRO member.

The tribute features a remarkable lineup, including members of VIVIZ, MONSTA X, SEVENTEEN, SF9, Stray Kids, Billlie, and former ASTRO members themselves. 

Among the notable contributors are Hoshi, DK, Wonwoo, and Mingyu (SEVENTEEN), Bang Chan (Stray Kids), Kihyun and I.M (MONSTA X), along with Rocky and Jinjin both close friends and former groupmates of Moonbin. 

Jinjin took a key role in composing the track, while Rocky contributed heartfelt lyrics that reflect deep personal sentiments.

"Moon" is more than just a song—it’s a letter of longing. Each verse is filled with unspoken emotions, serving as a message to Moonbin "waiting behind the door of the moon." The project carries a philanthropic mission as well all proceeds from the song will be donated to those in need, making it a musical effort rooted in compassion.

One touching line reads: “Even if you are not here, the light you left behind still reaches us.” These words have deeply resonated with fans, many of whom found comfort and solace in the song’s message.

Within just three hours of its release on YouTube, the music video garnered over 250,000 views, demonstrating the immense love and support that continues to surround Moonbin’s legacy.

 Fans flooded the comment section with heartfelt messages, sharing how the song helped ease their grief.

ASTRO has consistently honored Moonbin’s memory through music and meaningful content. Last year, Jinjin collaborated with Moonbin on a single titled "Fly". 

In the same spirit, Cha Eun-woo and Yoon San-ha once again released a cover video this year on Moonbin’s birthday—an annual tradition that symbolizes their lasting bond.
