Angelina Jolie Amplifies Gaza Crisis, Highlights Medical Group’s Alarming Report

Wartagate.com - Internationally acclaimed actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie has once again spoken out about the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
On Saturday, April 19, Jolie took to her Instagram Story to share a harrowing update from Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières/MSF), shedding light on the worsening situation in the conflict-ridden region.
Jolie, who has served for over two decades as a goodwill ambassador and special envoy for the UN refugee agency (UNHCR), used her platform to broadcast the dire message from MSF.
The organization described Gaza as “a mass grave for Palestinians and those trying to assist them,” emphasizing the catastrophic human toll of the Israeli military operations.
The report highlighted that Israel's ongoing assaults by air, land, and sea have forcibly displaced countless Palestinians while simultaneously blocking the entry of crucial humanitarian aid.
"The lives of Palestinians are once again being systematically shattered," MSF noted in its statement.
In addition to the devastating impact on civilians, the report warned that Israeli attacks are directly threatening the safety of aid workers and medical professionals operating in Gaza.
MSF called on Israeli authorities to immediately lift the blockade, which it described as both inhumane and lethal, and to ensure protection for civilians and humanitarian staff.
The post concluded with a plea for an urgent ceasefire to halt further bloodshed and suffering.
Since the onset of Israel’s military campaign in October 2023, more than 51,000 Palestinians have reportedly lost their lives, with women and children making up the majority of the casualties.
The international legal community has also taken action. In November, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Furthermore, Israel faces ongoing proceedings at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) over accusations of genocide.
Jolie’s post reinforces growing international concerns about the scale of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the urgent need for accountability and relief efforts.
