BLACKPINK’s Rosé Named One of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People of 2025

 The list, which honors figures from various fields including entertainment, sports, and politics, recognizes Rosé under the “Pioneers” category for her groundbreaking influence in the music industry.

The feature, published on April 16, includes a heartfelt tribute written by actress and producer Lily Collins, who described Rosé as “genuine, humble, and incredibly powerful.” 

Collins, a self-proclaimed BLACKPINK fan, praised Rosé’s artistic versatility and her ability to command attention both as a key member of the world-renowned girl group and as a solo performer.

“She’s a dynamic singer and songwriter, and I find it so impressive how she connects with audiences in packed arenas—whether as part of BLACKPINK or standing alone as a soloist,” Collins noted.

 “To me, she truly embodies what it means to be an icon and a boss. Her voice is bold, her music is exciting, and I love texting her every time I hear ‘APT’ or ‘Toxic Till the End’ playing on the radio.”

Rosé began her journey with BLACKPINK in 2016, quickly establishing herself as a standout vocalist. In 2021, she made her solo debut with her album R, featuring the lead single “On The Ground.” 

The track made waves internationally, climbing to the top of the Billboard Global 200 chart.

Her influence continued to rise with the release of “APT,” a collaboration with Bruno Mars.

 The music video for the song achieved a remarkable milestone, becoming the fastest K-pop video to surpass 900,000 views on YouTube, reaching that number in just over 92 days after its release on October 18, 2024, at 1 PM KST.
