Rowoon of SF9 to Serve Mandatory Military Service

Wartagate.com - South Korean actor and singer Rowoon, known for being a member of the group SF9, will enlist to serve mandatory military service in the South Korean Army on July 21, 2025.

Rowoon's agency, FNC Entertainment, has confirmed the news, stating that Rowoon will enter a training center and fulfill his military duties as an active-duty soldier.

Before starting his military service, Rowoon will hold a fan meeting titled "Before Blooming" on May 31, 2025, at Kwangwoon University in Seoul, South Korea.

Rowoon debuted as a member of SF9 in 2016 and later shifted his focus to acting after leaving the group in 2023.

Rowoon gained fame for his role in the series "Extraordinary You" and is currently waiting for the release of his new drama series titled "The Murky Stream". With this, Rowoon will temporarily put his acting and music career on hold to fulfill his mandatory military service.
