Through a written statement released by his agency, ARA, on Wednesday (January 14), Kang Daniel was confirmed to be enlisting as an active-duty soldier on February 9, 2026. He will enter the Korea Army Training Center to undergo basic military training before starting his official duties as an active-duty serviceman.

ARA emphasized that there will be no special farewell event on the day of Kang Daniel’s enlistment. This decision was made to maintain safety and order at the location, as it is also used by other new recruits and their families.

The agency also urged fans not to visit the enlistment site in order to avoid crowds that could potentially disrupt the comfort and safety of the surrounding area.
