Agency Confirms Jang Na Ra Not Involved in Former Staff Member’s Death Case, Police Still Investigating

WartaGate.com – The South Korean entertainment industry is currently mourning after a former agency staff member who once worked with well-known actress Jang Na Ra was found dead.

The incident quickly sparked various speculations on social media, with some discussions even dragging the actress’s name into the situation.

According to reports from Korean media, the man, identified as Mr. A was found dead on Monday (March 9). As of now, the police are still conducting an investigation to determine the exact cause of his death.

The report also mentioned that the man left a note before he died. However, the contents of the note have not yet been disclosed to the public as it remains part of the ongoing investigation.

The case began gaining widespread attention online after it was linked to an internal conflict that allegedly occurred at LAELBnc, the former agency of Jang Na Ra.

The agency had previously been reported to face internal issues related to investment matters, which fueled speculation among netizens.

Some internet users even attempted to connect the death of the former staff member to the actress. However, there has been no evidence indicating that Jang Na Ra is involved in the case.

Responding to the growing rumors, representatives of Jang Na Ra eventually issued a clarification to Korean media. They firmly stated that the actress has absolutely no connection to the circulating allegations.

The representative explained that Jang Na Ra and her current agency have no relationship with the issue currently being discussed by the public. They also noted that much of the information circulating online is not entirely accurate.

The agency further clarified that Mr. A was someone who had previously worked with them as a younger colleague. Therefore, the main focus at the moment is to pay their respects and ensure that the deceased receives a proper funeral.

After leaving LAELBnc, Jang Na Ra was briefly an independent actress, or a free agent. She had signed an exclusive contract with the agency in January 2025, but the contract ended in August of the same year.

Meanwhile, Mr. A had reportedly worked again with Jang Na Ra after leaving the agency. Nevertheless, the actress’s representatives emphasized that the professional relationship had nothing to do with the death case currently under investigation.

Jang Na Ra’s representatives also added that they are being very cautious in making statements because, so far, no confirmed facts regarding the cause of the man’s death have been officially released.

Amid the sad news, Jang Na Ra is reportedly preparing to return to television through the second season of the popular drama Good Partner, which is scheduled to air on Seoul Broadcasting System later this year.

If in the first season she starred alongside Nam Ji Hyun, the new season is rumored to pair Jang Na Ra with Kim Hye Yoon.

The drama will continue to focus on the story of the first divorce law firm in South Korea.
