Ratings Soar, Phantom Lawyer Becomes the Most Popular K-Drama on Friday Night

WartaGate.com – The latest Korean drama Phantom Lawyer is increasingly proving its popularity among viewers.

Starring Yoo Yeon Seok and Esom, the drama has achieved impressive ratings.

According to data from Nielsen Korea, the third episode, which aired on Friday (March 20), successfully recorded an average nationwide rating of 7.8 percent.

This figure places Phantom Lawyer as the highest-rated drama in the Friday time slot.

At the same time, the MBC drama In Your Radiant Season only managed to score 2.9 percent.

Meanwhile, Still Shining experienced a decline, recording ratings of 1.1 percent and 0.9 percent for its latest episodes.

Phantom Lawyer first premiered on March 13, 2026, and is scheduled to have a total of 16 episodes.

The drama airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM KST and is also available on Netflix with Indonesian subtitles.

In terms of storyline, Phantom Lawyer offers a fresh concept by combining elements of law, horror, and comedy.

The story revolves around Shin Yi Rang, a lawyer with the unique ability to see supernatural beings. He eventually opens a law office in a location known to be haunted.

Shin Yi Rang, portrayed by Yoo Yeon Seok, is depicted as a charming character who often delivers comedic moments, especially when he becomes possessed by restless spirits seeking justice.

Throughout his journey, he teams up with Han Na Hyun, another lawyer played by Esom.

Together, they handle unusual cases involving unsettled spirits.

Despite its eerie theme, Phantom Lawyer remains light and entertaining thanks to its consistent comedic touch in every episode.

It’s no surprise that the drama has become one of the most highly anticipated shows among K-drama fans today.
