WartaGate.com – Kim Ryeowook has once again shown his compassionate side. In celebration of Children’s Day, the member of Super Junior has made a significant donation to support underprivileged children in South Korea.

The news was announced by the G Foundation on Monday (May 4). In its statement, the organization revealed that Ryeowook donated 100 million won, equivalent to approximately Rp1.18 billion.

The donation will be allocated for two main purposes. Half of the funds, or 50 million won, will be used to support children at risk of food insecurity. Meanwhile, the remaining amount will go toward helping children living in orphanages, supporting their needs and overall welfare.

The Chairman of G Foundation, Park Chung Kwan, expressed his appreciation for the contribution. He stated that Ryeowook’s donation not only provides material assistance but also brings renewed hope to children facing difficult circumstances.

He also emphasized that the funds will be managed transparently to ensure they deliver real and meaningful impact, both for current needs and the future of the beneficiaries.

Ryeowook’s social contribution is part of his ongoing efforts to improve the quality of life for vulnerable children. Beyond providing direct assistance, this act is also expected to inspire more people to share and care for others, especially on meaningful occasions such as Children’s Day.
