Wartagate.com - The recent DAY6 concert in Jakarta, held at the Madya Stadium of Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) on May 3, was marred by controversy and logistical issues.

The Korean band, managed by JYP Entertainment, was scheduled to perform as part of their third world tour, "Forever Young." However, the event was plagued by problems, including last-minute venue changes, delayed ticket distribution, and long queues.

Fans expressed their disappointment and frustration with the promoter's handling of the situation, citing a lack of preparedness and poor management.

In response to the backlash, JYP Entertainment released a statement apologizing to fans for the inconvenience and discomfort caused by the issues.

"We would like to sincerely apologize to all the fans who care about DAY6 for causing concern," the agency stated.

"We apologize deeply to the fans who waited patiently in bad weather and felt uncomfortable, and to the artists who did their best in a difficult situation while prioritizing the fans."

JYP Entertainment acknowledged the problems stemmed from poor coordination with the local promoter and inadequate management.

The agency also highlighted the lack of safety measures during the bad weather, which led to delays in the soundcheck and the start of the main performance.

The agency has promised to take steps to ensure that such issues do not recur in future concerts. "We will pay close attention to the operational aspects so that fans can enjoy concerts comfortably and safely in the future," they stated. "Once again, we sincerely apologize to everyone who attended the DAY6 concert and was affected."
