That same day, major news broke that Hailey's skincare brand, Rhode, had been acquired by beauty giant e.l.f. 

Beauty in a groundbreaking $1 billion deal — approximately Rp16 trillion. The acquisition marks a significant turning point in Hailey’s entrepreneurial journey.

According to People, a source close to Hailey revealed she was “thrilled” about the deal. “This opportunity came to her, and she’s beyond excited about what lies ahead. She’s incredibly proud of how far Rhode has come,” the insider shared. “Partnering with e.l.f. will take the brand to the next level. The resources and support they bring are everything she hoped for.”

The source also noted the significance of the moment for Hailey. “Being recognized and acquired by such a powerful global company is an incredible honor for her. She’s looking forward to expanding Rhode internationally — and yes, she received a significant cash payout as part of the agreement.”
