SHINee Celebrates 17th Anniversary with New Single Album

 Wartagate.com - The South Korean boy group SHINee is celebrating their 17th anniversary by releasing a new single album titled "Poet | Artist". 

The album was announced by their agency, SM Entertainment, which also revealed that the title track was written by the late Jonghyun, a member of SHINee who passed away in 2017.

The title track "Poet | Artist" is an electro-pop song that features lyrics that encourage listeners to embrace their creativity and live life like an artist. 

The second song, "Starlight", is a mid-tempo dance track that describes the feeling of getting to know someone under the light of the stars.

SHINee will perform both songs live during their upcoming concert series, "SHINee WORLD VII 'E.S.S.A.Y,'" which will take place over three days at the KSPO Dome in Seoul. 

The concert will be a retrospective journey through SHINee's 17-year music history, featuring their hit songs and fan favorites performed live with a band.

SHINee debuted in 2008 as a five-member group and quickly rose to fame with a string of hit songs in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Although the group remains under their original agency, some members have signed individual contracts to pursue solo careers. The single album "Poet | Artist" will be released on May 25 at midnight KST.
