Film TYGO Shooting in Tangerang, City Government Implements Traffic Engineering

WartaGate.com – Tangerang City has become one of the filming locations for the Korean film TYGO, starring Lisa of BLACKPINK.
The production of this international film is taking place in several areas, including Jakarta, Tangerang, and Bandung. Lisa’s presence in Indonesia has immediately drawn public attention.
During the filming process, the Tangerang City Government, in coordination with the Traffic Unit of the Tangerang City Metro Police, implemented traffic management measures at several points.
One of the roads temporarily closed was Jalan KS Tubun Karawaci, specifically the section from the Pintu Air 10 Bridge area to the Simpang Tujuh intersection.
The road closure was enforced for four days, from January 28 to 31, 2026, to support the smooth production of the film.
Head of the Tangerang City Transportation Agency, Achmad Suhaely, said that his office had prepared traffic arrangements to ensure that community activities could continue as usual.
According to him, personnel from the Transportation Agency and the police were deployed on site to assist with traffic diversions and provide guidance to road users.
This traffic engineering was carried out based on a road-use permit issued by the central government.
The Tangerang City Government also prepared several alternative routes for motorists, especially for vehicles traveling from Neglasari to Cadas and vice versa.
Directional signs were installed at several points to help residents adjust their travel routes during the closure.
The government also apologized to residents for any inconvenience that might occur.
The public was urged to comply with traffic regulations and follow officers’ instructions during the traffic management period.
On the other hand, the road closure policy is considered to have positive impacts. The Head of the Tangerang City Office of Culture and Tourism, Boyke Urip Hermawan, stated that the international-scale film production provides strategic benefits for the region.
He believes that the presence of international artists such as Lisa of BLACKPINK can increase Tangerang City’s global exposure.
The impact is expected to boost the tourism sector, the creative economy, and encourage local MSMEs directly involved in the film production process.
With this film shoot, Tangerang City is not only serving as a supporting location for international productions, but also has the opportunity to become better known globally as a city that is friendly to the creative industry.
