Young K of DAY6 Officially Joins Amazing Saturday as a Permanent Cast Member, Set to Make His First Appearance in February 2026

WartaGate.com – Good news comes from the South Korean entertainment industry. Young K, a member of the band DAY6, has officially joined tvN’s popular variety show Amazing Saturday as a permanent cast member.

The news was directly confirmed by tvN on Friday, February 6, 2026. In its statement, tvN said that Young K will take on the role of a new fixed member of the program. The musician has also begun filming for Amazing Saturday, marking the start of his journey on the variety show.

The first episode featuring Young K is scheduled to be recorded today. The announcement immediately drew attention from fans, especially since his debut episode is set to air on February 28 on tvN.

For reference, Amazing Saturday is widely known as one of the variety shows with a strong and influential lineup of permanent cast members in the Korean entertainment industry. The interactions among the cast are a key attraction that has allowed the program to endure and remain popular over time.

Currently, the permanent cast of Amazing Saturday includes Shin Dong Yup, Taeyeon, Moon Se Yoon, and Kim Dong Hyun. They are also joined by Boom, P.O, Nucksal, and Hanhae, who complete the show’s signature chemistry.

Previously, the program was also reinforced by comedian Park Na Rae and SHINee’s Key as permanent members. However, both officially stepped down in December of last year, creating space for new cast additions.
