aespa Announces Comeback with Second Album Lemonade, Set for Release in May 2026

WartaGate.com – K-pop girl group aespa is back in the spotlight after officially announcing their latest comeback. The group, formed by SM Entertainment, is set to release their second full-length album titled LEMONADE on May 29, 2026.

The announcement was made on Monday, April 20, 2026, at midnight KST. Along with the news, aespa also unveiled their first teaser titled INTRO – P.O.S: Singularity, instantly sparking curiosity among fans.

This comeback feels special as it marks their second studio album following Armageddon, which was released in May 2024. Since then, aespa has remained active in the music industry. They released the single album Dirty Work in June 2025, followed by the mini album Rich Man in September 2025.

The teaser for LEMONADE once again showcases aespa’s signature futuristic and mysterious concept. The video opens with a red background that suddenly cracks like glass, as if revealing a portal to another world. The sound of trickling water is then heard, followed by the appearance of the word “LEMONADE” alongside aespa’s iconic logo.

This visual concept further reinforces aespa’s identity, which is closely associated with virtual worlds and unique storytelling connected to technology and alternate realities. It’s no surprise that each of their teasers often sparks various fan theories.

The comeback announcement was warmly welcomed by their fandom, MY. Many are eagerly anticipating the new musical direction that aespa will present in LEMONADE, while also hoping for another innovative concept from the group.

On the other hand, aespa recently greeted their Indonesian fans through a concert held on April 4, 2026, at ICE BSD. The concert was part of their world tour titled SYNK: aeXIS LINE and marked their third visit to the country.

With the comeback date drawing closer, LEMONADE is expected to be a new milestone in aespa’s musical journey. The album is also predicted to continue the success of their previous releases while strengthening their position as one of the most influential fourth-generation K-pop girl groups.
