Red Velvet’s Irene and Seulgi to Make Long-Awaited Comeback with New Mini Album in May

Wartagate.com - After five years of silence as a unit, Red Velvet’s Irene and Seulgi are officially preparing for a long-awaited comeback. SM Entertainment has confirmed that the duo is working on a brand-new mini album set to be released in May 2025.

“Irene and Seulgi of Red Velvet are currently preparing a new mini album, with the goal of releasing it in May. Please look forward to it,” SM Entertainment told Soompi on Friday (April 11).

This upcoming release marks the first comeback of the Irene & Seulgi sub-unit since their debut in July 2020 with the hit single "Monster." 

The track showcased their powerful chemistry, fierce performance skills, and a darker, more mature concept compared to their group activities under Red Velvet.

Although both idols have been active through solo endeavors and group promotions, fans have been eagerly anticipating the return of the duo.
