Career Shines Brighter, Park Ji Hoon Prepares for Solo Comeback After His Film Surpasses 9 Million Viewers

WartaGate.com – South Korean actor and singer Park Ji Hoon is currently enjoying a golden period in his career in the entertainment industry. His name is increasingly recognized as one of the promising young actors in South Korea.

Park Ji Hoon’s performance in the film The King's Warden has successfully captured public attention. In the movie, he portrays King Danjong and received positive responses from audiences.

The film has even achieved an impressive milestone by surpassing 9 million viewers as of March 2, 2026. This achievement was reached in just 27 days after its premiere on February 4, 2026, making it one of the most successful Korean films released at the beginning of the year.

Amid his success in acting, Park Ji Hoon is also preparing a new step in the music industry. His agency, YY Entertainment, confirmed that the artist is currently working on a new solo album.

The upcoming album will mark Park Ji Hoon’s latest solo release after a long hiatus. His last album was the seventh mini album titled Blank or Black, which was released in April 2023. This means his comeback will come after about three years.

Park Ji Hoon is not a newcomer in the entertainment industry. He began his career as a child actor and appeared in several popular dramas, including Jumong (2006) and The King and I (2007).

His name became widely known after participating in the popular survival program Produce 101 Season 2. In the show, he finished in second place in the final, which led to his debut with the project boy group Wanna One.

After the group officially disbanded, Park Ji Hoon continued his career as both a solo singer and an actor. In 2024, he also signed a contract with a new agency, YY Entertainment.

Besides being known as an idol, Park Ji Hoon has also gained recognition for his acting skills. He is considered capable of delivering strong character transformations in various drama and film projects.

Some of the acting projects he has starred in include the dramas Weak Hero Class and Love Song for Illusion, as well as the latest film The King’s Warden.
